The birthday of a noble son!

Happy 12th Birthday to my eldest son!! A nobler son you will not find! Our oldest boy has been the delight of our family since the day of his birth. His birth was by far my most trying ... epiduraless, that is... but it was worth every moment!This boy is very special and always has been. He was my easiest baby, though little Noah Frederick is giving him a run for his money! He has the sweetest spirit, a most gentle nature and aims to please everyone all the time... a trait his older sisters have been known to exploit. ~wink~ My oldest boy is a champion of the underdog, an aspiring outdoorsman, a gifted pianist, a strong and able bodied student, a diligent worker, persevering, rugged and tough when need be, but gentle and sensitive in spirit. The Lord wooed his heart from an early age for which we are eternally thankful and this boy has had the sensitivity of Samuel to the Lord's voice ever since.

My oldest boy seeks to serve the Lord in all he does and prays daily for the Lord to make clear His call for his life. He is a student of God's Word and prays along with us that one day he will be the mighty patriarch of a noble family, stand in the gates, be a leader in the church, and take dominion of the earth. This boy is a straight and true arrow in the hand of the Lord and we are excited to see how the Lord will use him for His kingdom!

Our eldest son turns twelve today. He is at the threshold of manhood and is walking in honor and nobility before God and man. We could not ask for a finer son, a more virtuous son or a more honorable son. Our noble boy full of valor and integrity, we are so proud of you and we are humbled to be your blessed parents. You bring us delight and joy in all you do. What a priceless treasure you are to us!

As your childhood begins to make way the path toward manhood, may you be found favorable in the eyes of the Lord. You have certainly found favor with your parents!
