Pizza Perfection!

Tuesday, April 15, 2008

Here is a quick and easy tip that everyone ought to know! When reheating leftover pizza in the microwave, the crust often turns rock hard. To keep this problem from happening, wet the bottom of the cold pizza crust with water. Be generous but don't soak the crust. This water will create steam in the microwave and will give you pizza crust that is as soft and fresh as when the pizza was first baked!

It works for us... not that we ever have any leftover pizza!

ooooh...great tip! I always reheat in the toaster oven for this reason, but I'll have to try this!

We put the pizza on a wet papertowel...same effect. I learned to do that because my grandma taught me to put a wet paper towel OVER other foods (especially meats) when reheating so they wouldn't dry out.

Great idea! We usually reheat ours in the toaster oven also, but I might have to give the microwave a try next time!

Great tip! Usually any pizza we have left over will be eaten cold for breakfast - but if any makes it past that - I am trying this tip! Thanks!
