Today is the Works for Me: Five Ingredients or Less Edition! I love it when that happens! My recipe is actually six ingredients but I won't tell if you won't!
This is one of my favorite meals to make for people at parties or to take to a family with a new baby or especially to our church fellowship lunches. It's a little spicy, just like me. Everyone raves when I pull this recipe out!
Cajun Pot Roast
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 9 hours
Ingredients:
2 lb. boneless beef chuck roast
1 Tbsp. Cajun seasoning
1 onion, chopped
14 oz. can diced tomatoes with garlic, undrained
1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation: Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over roast and rub to coat well. Place in 4-6 quart crockpot and top with onion. In small bowl, combine tomatoes with their juice, hot pepper sauce and pepper. Pour over vegetables and roast. Cover and cook on low setting for 8-10 hours. Serves 6
I originally found this recipe on About.Com at Linda Larson's page. She has some fabulous recipes!

Oh wow--my husband is from Louisiana (and I might as well be, since I looove Cajun food) and this sounds good!
I will be trying this since we love crockpotting around here. Thanks!
This sounds great - and my hubs is always trying to sneak hot sauce into the cooking... :)
Yummy !! Thanks.
God Bless.

I'm always looking for a new way to dress up a roast! I think I'll try this tomorrow.
I am LOVING this week's WFMW! Thanks for sharing!
I'm always looking for wonderful new crockpot recipes for piano lesson days. This just might be one of them ... Thanks!
Oh, I hear ya about those piano lesson days! If it weren't for the crockpot, we'd have no meals at all on those days!
