I thought it was about time I properly introduce you to my chicks. =)
So, here we go!
The Twins: Sally and Susy
I call these two "The Twins" mostly because it's very hard to tell them apart.
This one is Sally...she doesn't really appreciate having her picture taken. =P
Susy (short for Susanna) on the other hand, likes to ham it up to the camera.

Here's one more of Susy. =)

Olive

Olive is my calm chick. Unlike a lot of her sisters, she'll sit still while having her picture made. =)

Olive, one more time.
Molly is my sweet baby chick. She's the littlest of the flock, but very lively. Poor baby, isn't very photogenic though. These are the best pictures I could get of her. She's much cuter in person. ;)
Mabel

Here's Mabel. She likes to stretch her neck out like that. =)

Mabel again. =)

It's not easy to photograph this one. This is Lucy and she NEVER sits still. Whenever I open the brooder, she's the first one to fly out and across the room. xD

Here's Clara. =) She's a little one too. Notice the little fuzzies on her feet in the above picture. I love that. =)

I love Clara's name too....it's one of my favorites.

This is Jane. She's my second biggest.

I love how her back is speckled, even though I know that'll probably go away when those fuzzies fall out. =(

Nellie is my crazy huge chick. Some sources tell me that Nellie may have to be changed to Nell, or Nels, or something like that. I choose to ignore those sources.

Well, that's it! I hope you enjoyed meeting my girls!

Wow, I can't believe how big they've gotten! Thanks for the pictures...they are all so cute!
I am SO! excited that there's one named Susy...and thank you for naming a chick after me...I take that as a compliment.
I'm not sure what I think about her being a camera hog. I am not quite as photogenic as she is but I do love to take pictures (as long as I'm BEHIND the camera).
Your ladies are quite interesting. If your Nellie turns out to be, er....ummm....something different then what you originally thought *awkwardly looking around*...then maybe you could name "it" Winthrop.
Just a thought.
Cute chicks, and good pictures.

I'm not surprised that Susy hams it up. Not at all. ;-)
These babies are adorable!
cute chicks
They are the cutest things, aren't they? But you know, you might have made a mistake...my mom says if you're planning on raising chickens for eating, it might not be a good idea to name them if you don't wish to become too attatched. :) Or at least to pick 'suitable' names...such as Roaster, Broiler, Fricassee and Stir-Fry.
Haha! No, no, Elisabeth...we will NOT be eating these! ;)
looking merely at the size of their combs, nellie and mabel may well become Nels and Marvin. :) Enjoy them!
"I choose to ignore those sources." Denial!
As they say it around here, your chicks are "spoilt rotten".
